Earlier today, the Chairman, People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Kaduna State and Chairman, PDP State Chairmen Forum, Hon. Dr. Felix Hassan Hyat flagged off a free surgery and medical services programme for residents of Jema’a and Sanga Federal Constituency organized by the PDP candidate for the Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency in the forthcoming general elections, Hon. Daniel Amos in conjunction with the Graceland Healthcare Development Foundation, Kaduna.
The Chairman lauded the health initiative by the organisers given the worsening human life circumstances in the country brought about by the 7 years of misgovernance by the APC-led administrations at both state and national levels.
He noted that Hon. Dan Amos is a leading example of what the PDP stands for-a people centred party and therefore, called on the electorates in the area to vote enmasse for the candidates of the party across all positions. He added that it will be a very costly mistake to vote some of the party’s candidates and leave some other as this can shortchange the people in so many ways after the elections.
He also used the occasion to announce the planned visit of the PDP Presidential Candidate, His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to Southern Kaduna on 19th December, 2022 to meet with the leaders of the zone.
While also making his remarks, Hon. Dan Amos explained that the programme was a joint effort with the Graceland Healthcare Development Foundation and his friends to assist the less privileged and ensure that electorates go into the elections healthier. He assured that if given the mandate, more people-oriented programmes/projects would be delivered to the Constituency.
Various speakers at the event including the PDP zonal chairman, Hon. Lucas Gwani, former House of Representatives member, Hon. Ado Dogo, erstwhile commissioner and principal private secretary to governor Patrick Yakowa, Hon. Allahmagani Yohanna, the Jema’a LG PDP Stakeholders Chairman, Hon. Edward Percy Masha, Paramount Ruler of Fantsuam Chiefdom, HRH. Dr. Josiah Kantiok, serving members in the Kaduna State House of Assembly for Jema’a and Sanga Constituencies, Hon. Ali Kalat and Hon. Mrs Comfort Amwe respectively, representatives of the Christian and Islamic leaders, among other top politicians and community leaders in the zone and beyond as well as some of the beneficiaries commended the candidate for the gesture.
