The former member KSHA who represented kachia constituency, and the PDP candidate kachia/Kagarko federal house of representatives, Rt Hon David Umar Gurara has condemned the attack on the people of Jere Community in Kagarko local government area of kaduna state.
On Sunday night, the house of the late chief of Jere Alhaji Usman was attacked where one person was kidnapped along his wife and little daughter who is said to be still under breast-feeding, the late chief who is the husband of the former finance minister Nenadi Esther Usman.
According to the people of the community, the attackers storms the community in the middle of night while the people were asleep and started shooting to scale people of the community while they went ahead to kidnapped their victims.
Jere has recently being in the news over the attacks by the terrorist.
Rt Hon David Umar Gurara, speaking to First page daily Reporters yesterday condemned the attacks on the innocent citizens and call on the security agencies to urgently go into action to rescue the victims and restore confidence in the community.
Gurara said, i condemned in totality the attacks on the people of jere and i call on the security to as a matter of urgency ensure the victims were returned back unhurt, i also call on the kaduna state government to do more by taking their primary responsibility of securing the lives and property of citizens and restore confidence in to the people of the community.
He charged the people of Jere to be vigilant and report any suspicious person or moves around them to the authorities.
